First Time Trying Tai Chi

Well, there is a first for everything and I am happy to say I have tried Tai Chi and I really liked it. As a certified fitness instructor, I lead a variety of class formats that always have moderate to fast, upbeat music and high energy. I usually try to watch my sugar intake, definitely more than counting calories. Sugar will be a topic in itself on a future blog. For now, I want to share that when I do want a treat that isn’t one of my daily foods, I try to find or make a healthier swap. What exactly does that mean? Happy 4th of July!!!!! In previous years I would have indulged in pies, cakes, cookies, or other goodies for my holiday treat. Things have changed in the past few years since going gluten free due to thyroid issues.
